These cartridge cables were purchased to rebuild a Technics SL-D3 turntable. The wires fit into the pins on the Audio Technica AT-VM95e cartridge, but they don't fit into the pins feeding the side of the arm. The terminal ends of these wires are too large for this application. I've tried clamping these wires to the shell connectors with needle nose pliers, but the wire clamps are still too loose. This introduces a very strong hum into the system and is extremely uncomfortable to listen to my vinyl collection. I have to order a whole new shell as I don't want to risk it with cheap wires again. I do not recommend buying this cable set if you are trying to connect to a Technics shell.
