In the preface to this review, I want to say that I don't have much experience with game controllers for Windows computers. I've used controllers for consoles before so I have some bases for comparison and I'm very impressed with this little device. When I decided to install an emulator on my PC, I needed a game controller for it. . There is nothing better than trying to play Final Fantasy on a keyboard! So I started browsing and looking at the reviews. The Model 1 has been consistently hailed as reliable and affordable, and it's the f310. I was not disappointed. It took a bit of effort to set it up for the emulator, but once that was done it worked flawlessly. It's quite comfortable in my hands - comfortable and sturdy, not too difficult to use. It's as responsive as any controller I've tried, and any hiccups in that regard are related to the emulator, not the controller. My understanding is that this is by no means a high-end controller and it lacks many of the features that some of the more popular controllers have. But then again, I'm not an avid gamer and I don't necessarily need a high-end controller! I've seen this model mentioned as an entry-level controller, but to be honest I see no reason to change it any time soon.
