Review on 🚗 Flowmaster 72198 Exhaust Muffler, Brushed Finish - 1 Pack by Andrew Grimes

After a long awaited year of researching what setup to put on my 2017 Ram 1500 Sport with Hemi 5.7. I came across this new Flowmaster silencer while watching a video on their YouTube channel. This muffler has a continuous design that differs from previous Flowmaster chambered mufflers (e.g. Super 10, 40 series). The muffler quality looks set to last through all four seasons. This muffler evoked the Hemi sound when going into WOT compared to the stock. The inside and outside sound you get from this muffler is perfectly acceptable for the road and commuting. In other words, it's not uncomfortable when it drowns out a conversation or turns on a car alarm. In terms of performance, the throttle response is more responsive, but maybe that's because I just want to hear a nice exhaust note. The only problem in terms of sound is the MDS Eco mode, which only runs on 4 cylinders. If you can disable MDS, I recommend you do so so you can get the full V8 sound experience. The inlet is 3" and the exits are 2.5" each. So this works for 13-18 Ram 1500 owners with dual factory exhaust. This is NOT a direct fit for an existing exhaust. Some welding is required to properly install this muffler with no leaks.
