Didn't fit VQ35 - had to trim

I know it's a cheap product compared to the brand but I had to trim about 1mm from one end to fit my maxes 2006 fits . I compared it to the spacer I removed and found it too long. I haven't run the engine yet so I'm wondering if it's taking too long and what other problems might arise.
