I bought this machine from amazon.com on April 18, 2018 and received it on April 24th. Today, May 15, 2018, espresso coffee no longer comes through the double filter or the double-walled two-cup basket. I called Breville support and we ran a test to see if the car was full. We use pre-ground coffee and are quite skinny, the coffee doesn't seem to be a problem and according to the support rep I was surprised it would happen within 3 weeks of using it. But the agent recommended that I boil the basket in water and vinegar to possibly clean it, not guaranteed. I asked her if I should do this every three weeks and she suggested that another option might be to buy a new basket. , a new basket sells for about $35. If we assume that we need a machine every 2 months, the equation for the total cost of that machine changes significantly. There are many better options on the market for this total cost. So we decided to return it.
