This drive was defective. My DVD is not extracted. There is no button or regular hole to insert a paperclip. He made all the noises but the disc didn't come out. I slammed it on the table and it ejected my CD. I put in a blank disc and ejected it a few times and everything worked fine. Then I put in another DVD of the movie and it didn't eject either. More hits and I got my movie back. That was all the diagnostics this drive was going to get. That looks great. But there is a DVD - that's a big no-no.
