Update: I ordered it again in the pure Red, and it's a beautiful color which works for the holidays, Valentines Day, Etc. This time, they shipped it in a box and it arrived in perfect condition. I used a steamer and all the creases came out easily on both the black and red dresses.I just received this "little black dress" today and couldn't wait to try it on! I am thrilled with it! Underneath I wore a Dominique strapless torselette and a fluffy petticoat, also ordered from revain. The fit was amazing! The neckline flounce actually comes right over the shoulder, and is long enough at the shoulder to create the look of a cap sleeve. The bodice has a facing that goes all the way around the armhole and neckline, giving the bodice ample support. The waistline seam is pointed in front creating a slimming waist. The skirt is not quite as full as shown, i.e, it is not a circle skirt. Once I put the petticoat under it, the skirt smoothed out into a wide A-line, giving the dress a very slimming and pretty silhouette. The fabric for the pure black color is medium-weight, has a lot of horizontal stretch, and it is a Rayon/Cotton/Spandex blend, making it comfortable for dancing. As far as sizing, I ordered a 2xl for my 42-38-48 size, and it fits perfectly! There is a substantial zipper up the back as well. I am beyond thrilled with this dress and I will probably order more in other colors.
