Bought this for my daughter's room and went with the larger size. It bangs into the frame more than I'd like, but still a good swing. My only real complaint is the color of the cushion. I chose beige/taupe/natural and it literally looks almost grey, like a cushion without a cover. And the material of the cushion is coarse. Again, it really looks like the cushion was supposed to have a cover on it but came without, which isn't the case, the cover is just very low quality. I would recommend searching for a cushion cover or a pillow/blanket to rest on it to make it look better and feel more comfortable. Overall, my daughter loves the swing. If you get a metal frame, put a pillow beneath the swing just in case.
