Not sure if it filters anything
GE no longer sells the original cartridge for that old sink water filter so I gave the Aqua Crest a try. However, the water comes out of the filter tap so quickly that I feel like there's a very good chance it doesn't filter anything - it should take longer to filter. And the taste is no less chlorinated than was noticed with the original cartridges. I'm giving it two stars because I have no evidence that it doesn't work, just a very strong suspicion based on 15 years of experience with genuine filter cartridges.
