I am using this unit as a bedroom clock radio. The unit sounds good considering it's size, the individual woofers and tweeters can be seen with a flashlight through the front. In my opinion the flat sound mode sounds best. I also appreciate the large display that continuously displays the time even when the unit is off. It is easy to see from across the room without my glasses. I docked one star because there is no battery backup for the clock (if the power fails) and the headphone jack would be more user friendly if it were on the front of the unit. The wood cabinet looks upscale on a nightstand or a dresser and it does not take up much space. There are not many choices now for a product like this, and the price was right too. I recommend this radio.
