Arm too short, does not provide good rear vision. Another brand I've used on several bikes over the years sticks out a few inches longer than this one and is perfect. . But this requires cutting off the end of the handle, which I try to avoid on the new Trek. With this item, the shift and brake levers have been moved to the middle. This will likely make the mirror stick out 2 inches. However, this modification would make the brake and shift levers difficult to access, hence impractical except for a photo.
