They were for my 18 Tundra as a replacement for the OEM TRD OR Bilstiens. I always felt from the start that "tuned" TRDs have a bit of a strong rebound. When riding over bumps, the rear end felt like it "kicked" a little more than I'd like. With these 5100s I have a little more control over the rebound, the ride is still tight but the rebound is more subtle. I wouldn't say there's a day/night difference, it's actually very subtle, but the price and ease of installation make it worth it.
