Not what I hoped for in a tape
If you need a water proof tape This is not it. I bought this specifically for our above ground pool cover (small tears) & for floaties. We covered a small 3 inch tear on the pool cover, when the weather turned to the low 90s the tape start Unsticking thus there was water seepage. Also applied the tape to a floatie with the same results. Tape apparently can’t stand up to heat. I haven’t tried the tape on anything else, I’m sure it will work ok on taping a box But it’s Not ok to use as a waterproof tape.
- I was expecting a tape that was clear but as strong as duct tape. Its strong but not clear.
- May not adhere well to oily or moist surfaces
