I had to edit my review.

Purchased to compress the springs on my 71 Nova to rebuild the front end. The hooks are only held on one side, which rotates the tool. Edit: Just used the end of the threaded hook and ran the tool through the shock hole on top. I was able to hook the spring this way and it worked great. Changed from 1 star to 4
