They are very good and keep your oil hot! They become very slippery when washing and for fear of breaking. I immediately ordered a second pair. And they also have a huge hot oil capacity, more than you need! Now the word "CAUTION": The base on which the small candle is held is very hot. Do not touch him! If you need to move the oil warmer around a bit there is a nice ledge at the bottom to attach the fork and then you can move it to the position you want. Sometimes it's easy to touch something to move it without thinking it's hot. So be careful, you can move it without any problem as I explained. And even the box is nice because it comes with a built-in divider to keep the heating pads separate from each other! I think someone might have written about heating pads turning black from a candle flame underneath. My heating pads didn't do that and stayed clean underneath.
