Bad stock. Faulty regulator
The alternator has a faulty bearing which squeaks intermittently. The alternator charges normally, but has a poor internal ground path that returns voltage from the battery through the vehicle, even when the ignition is off. It acts like a capacitor, slowly charging up and turning the fans on even when the key is off. Of course, Revain's return window has expired by 2 days. Garbage. Contact Revain to resolve the issue. The voltage regulator terminals in the alternator are WIRED TOGETHER, unlike the OEM alternator.
