When I switched to an induction hob for cooking, I found that the microwave ruined the flavor of many dishes. This, combined with questionable health issues, space, and a desire to have a good toaster (which I use for everything) prompted me to get rid of the microwave. Once I got rid of the microwave, the only times I missed it was when I needed melted butter or reheated waffle syrup (not to mention hot milk for a cup of cocoa). Well, that little pot took away the pain. It is ideal for quickly melting and heating small batches on an induction burner. The only wish is that it had a spout on both sides (I'm left-handed).
