Works exactly as advertised. Purchase advice. I tried using this with a USB 3.0 flash drive rated at 190Mbps. I got a consistent 100Mbps from this USB hub and 180Mbps from my laptop's USB 3.0 port. For 99% of devices this USB hub is fine if you expect it to give you full USB 3.0 speeds, you have to keep in mind that you won't get full speed, although it should be sufficient and is much faster than 20 Mbit/s / with USB 2.0. I'm surprised how quickly it fills up with devices, I could buy a USB hub with more ports, so be aware you only get 3 extra USB ports as it occupies one port. Finally processing quality. very good on this device, much better than my cheap ebay usb hubs which it replaces.
