Extremely easy to replace

A perfect fit for our latest model (September 2003 and later if you are interested) 2004 F250 Power Stroke. FICM repair shops asked for $300 to $400. The dealer wanted $1100. I can't imagine anyone paying for something so simple. Our truck gave us a fair warning. My Edge unit showed 39V on cold boot. The voltage would increase after four or five minutes of driving, but I knew the FICM voltage should be very close to or equal to 48V on a cold start. I've also observed a pretty good change in FICM voltage while driving. up to 45 sometimes. This is why an electronic sensor is a must in your Power Stroke 6.0 truck. I don't normally use replacement parts but this Dorman replacement fitted perfectly and solved the low voltage problem. The quality is better than factory as I examined the soldering and components. It was so easy to swap out that I said a few nasty words and gave the old part a fuck to make it feel like I was actually trying.
