Review on 📱 Brother DS-740D: Portable Duplex Document Scanner for Efficient Mobile Scanning by David Guliford

I ordered this for a large scanning project that required me to scan over 1000 documents double sided. With the project complete, here are my thoughts: Pros - The scanner is portable and uses the same cable to connect and power the computer. Small form factor Fast scanning. only 4-5 seconds per side duplex scanning good image quality The software was easy to use and helped organize everything I scanned well. Cons - the slider to select the paper size didn't stay in place. I cut the pencil to hold it in place (picture attached) which completely solved my problem, but it would be nice if the slider had a little more resistance so it doesn't move as easily. After scanning, if I tried to insert a page too quickly, the device would give a paper jam error, which I couldn't resolve until I unplugged and plugged it back in. Those two things aside I would say this was the best product for what I needed considering the price and I was able to get next day delivery.
