Bad scanner for eBay, especially postcards

This scanner is easy to use and reproduces images well. The software is useful and also easy to use. BUT the scanner has a built-in crop function that automatically crops the edges a bit. This is NOT configurable and cannot be disabled. This function is not a problem for most scanned objects. However, edges and edge wear are the most important element in determining the quality of an old postcard. Rounded corners and edges, as well as the general texture of the edges all around, are croppedโ€ฆ

Very Disappointed - Document Scanner

I bought this product to scan simple pictures and children's art projects. I read all the reviews and felt it had the features I needed - nothing fancy or affordable. The installation went well, but there is no instruction manual! I found one online and obviously you just upload an image and click scan, but if you run into problems it would be nice to have documentation on how to fix the problem. The scanner never scanned the whole thing. It would stop about half an inch from the bottom andโ€ฆ

Fast, efficient and portable. minor flaws

I ordered this for a large scanning project that required me to scan over 1000 documents double sided. With the project complete, here are my thoughts: Pros - The scanner is portable and uses the same cable to connect and power the computer. Small form factor Fast scanning. only 4-5 seconds per side duplex scanning good image quality The software was easy to use and helped organize everything I scanned well. Cons - the slider to select the paper size didn't stay in place. I cut the pencil toโ€ฆ

Disappointing Ready to use

Before you bought: This product did not come with a manual or other instructions. So I thought great plug and play. No way. I had to go online to download the instructions. The manual is limited and does not help in using the software. I found the scanner itself easy to use. But why should I scan something if I can't name it, adjust the settings (document or photo), dpi, or put it in a linked file so I can find it? It took 30 minutes to figure out where this thing fell on the first scan. Oneโ€ฆ
