This is a beautiful product seemingly created by an origami artist and the end result is amazing. However, it requires assembly and the parts do not match, requiring third-party purchases to complete the installation. Without my husband's mechanical abilities I would have had to return it. The instructions are not clear. One clasp didn't fit, and oddly the instructions said it wasn't necessary (yes?). The 12" zip ties were too long to attach the star to a standard 1" diameter treetop. Luckily I have a few 4" left over in my toolbox. Finally, the star plug is *polarized* and will not connect to the rest of the Christmas lights going down the tree. Instead, we had to purchase a separate polarized power strip to connect it to the star to connect. That seems ridiculous. Why polarized? Elf Logic needs to hire a couple of engineers to help with the details that a typical customer would expect from something so simple.
