Review on Fiberglass Retardant Fireproof Insulation Protection by Craig Waters

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They do not serve their intended purpose, but for smoking pellets! Check this out.

So I have a smoker next to a vinyl fence. I wanted to find something to protect my fence and something I could tear down. So I tried that and it worked really well. My smoker/grill is about a foot from my fence, just long enough for the lid to open and about 4 inches from the lid to the fence. The ceiling reached 280 degrees and the fence was only 85, the rest of the fence (in full sun) was 100, it was on the grill side, on the smoker side (pellets), the ceiling only reached 220. I used an infrared thermometer. I'm glad I bought 2, one for my flat top and one for the smoker / I need to do something about the grommets, they look really cheap and might come loose when hanging this on my fence.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Very expensive
