This review is based on using the Cobra mount on a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 (manual) with a Droid Razr MAXX. be well done; a strong flexible arm, an adhesive backing that sticks very well even when rotated horizontally when there are no legs to support the phone, and a durable charging connector. The Cobra charger plug is angled instead of straight. In my case, this limited the use of the lower powered "port" mount only in the truck. The main cigarette lighter area had dashboard surfaces that the Cobra connector could not clear, where a direct connection would solve this problem. Since it's a manual transmission, I had to bend the flexible arm on the cigarette lighter mount to the left. and then forward to clear the switch. He did it perfectly. But with the phone in the cradle, the shifted center of gravity and the weight of the phone caused a violent wobble in the hand, causing the entire assembly to rotate in the cigarette lighter, actually spinning the phone onto the floor. In the end I can recommend this product but with caution that it may not fit your vehicle properly or provide a stable, wobble free mount.
