Review on Garmin 7-Inch Suction Cup Mount by Darius Glatzel

Revainrating 4 out of 5

They don't last as long on the windshields of trucks parked outside.

They work great when new. I drive an old truck that doesn't have UV protection. This designated parking lot faces south. Especially brutal in summer. Sooner or later the suction cup ends up on the dashboard. Vaseline slightly extends the lifespan. They're pretty cheap now compared to when they were new. I have a whole box of used suction cups. If you find a flat spot on the dash, the flat plates you use the suction cup with are a huge improvement. It is located closer to the driver, so it is easier to read and enter data in it. Especially useful this year, when all roads are closed due to the first flood, and now the bridge repairs.
