Did exactly what I needed. I was able to use Wrangler JK front shocks on my Wrangler TJ. The hardest part was keeping everything in order while you attach the bottom bracket. Be sure to compress the shock bushing as instructed or it will loosen and move. But the time it takes to install is definitely worth it and gives you more flexibility when choosing shock absorbers.
