Habbi Needle My love, my carrot: my truthful feedback

Kauni. I have a difficult relationship with this yarn manufacturer. I tried twisted thread. And not the best experience. But then I happened to buy a couple of thin roving pancakes at a sale. Rainbow and Artistic Gray Orange. The pancakes weighed 88 and 102 grams. She was crazy happy. Ordering online is difficult without knowing the yarn. There was an old dream to tie and make berets. And now, dreams come true. From the rainbow, she began to knit the first "pancakes". I made a mistake - I had to start with a more advantageous color, so that the beret would fit the clothes and set off the complexion favorably. He emphasized the so-called type of appearance. And I immediately grabbed the knitting needles No. 2.75 with sharp tips and behind the loom. Immediately did not cope with the roving. Gathering loops in one thread is not an easy task. You canโ€™t pull the thread, it spreads and melts. When I gained some experience in knitting with a roving, I decided that it was better to make a set of loops in two strands. Moreover, this will not spoil the thing, but rather, on the contrary, will make the beret rim more stable. Beret first tied in one breath. And rather ran into the washing machine. Very eager to get results. Uvalivala takes at a temperature of 40 degrees and 800 revolutions, a program for washing cotton. Somewhere read earlier recommendations experienced. Beretik fell down to doll size. I managed to stretch it quite strongly, but the beret became very thin. The second beret was knitted in a larger size and felted more carefully: the time was reduced to 30 minutes - in the short wash mode. After the first time, the beret did not fall off, after the second it became what it needed. The third pancake was linked in 2 strands. He was the most successful, but the colors are not mine. My husband said that berets from the Rainbow are better and "more fun", they suit me. From experience I want to recommend: before knitting, choose the color that suits you best. As for the quality. The yarn is wonderful, but requires accuracy when knitting. From time to time my son pulled and tore the thread. She connected simply - by laying the ends of the dangling thread on top of each other. Such a connection becomes almost imperceptible. The roving is very pleasant to the touch and has a specific smell of sheep's wool. I like this smell. Since I am sensitive to wool, sometimes itching occurred when knitting, but, in a fit of passion, I forgot about it. The first beret has already walked. It is very pleasant to feel it on the head. Very light, almost weightless. From a skein of roving weighing 88 grams in one thread, I got 2 berets. In two threads, the consumption, of course, is more. Things turn out unusually beautiful and fluffy after felting. Now I understand the delight of experienced knitters and join them. The roving of Kauni is amazing.
