Review on Black Merrell Choprock Water Shoes for Men - High-performing Footwear by Ronnie Polk

Not a very good sandal. I was looking for a worthy replacement for my 12 year old insane, jaded craze and they got solid reviews from REI. However, the design and finish was not what I expected from something advertised as a hiking sandal. First is the sole and tread. The lugs look like trial runners, but the platform is very flimsy, flexes easily, and offers very little grip on uneven ground. The back of the sandal behind the ankle has an odd shape that rubbed against the back of the heel no matter how hard I pulled the toe. The insoles left the soles of my feet sweaty, hot and irritated. After all, they breathe badly on top of that, leading to a feeling of internal congestion. I was very disappointed.
