Someone or something to hold the door because it's heavy!

First you need a torx driver to remove the old torx screws, then you need someone or something to support the door while you remove the old jambs and install the new jambs, I have it didn't nobody could help me so i used a 2x6 or 2x8 board, she stuck it. Overall I'd say it's a bit of work installing them yourself but rest assured that whatever you do don't cross or tear off the new posts, also the old plastic washers from the old posts will need new ones. They weren't included, just take them off and put them on the new posts, do this side by side, also note some spots are very difficult to hit, I didn't notice the fittings on the new ones posts are unscrewed. by the time i installed them, all was said and done in the end. I installed it and now it rises on its own, although the old struts used to wear out from the cold and heat I think. and were probably originally pantry shelves. Just take your time, be patient and be careful and safe. I would highly recommend them to anyone. As long as they hold up great I no longer have to worry about a headache or the door falling on me. It's still a bit tight in there to close, but after some breaking in on the new struts it should smooth out over time. Much luck! everyone!
