I bought this to attach to the counter and stove to keep grease and crumbs from getting into that little hole. I didn't want this to be forever so keep that in mind as you read my review. It's PERFECT for what I need it for. It's a role big enough that I can easily replace it when it comes up (and it does). It seems to hold up well when I clean my desk regularly, and it does hold up even though the stove actually does get hot. This product is great for my purposes. It's not permanent so I can easily remove it when I take the oven out to clean, it cleans up easily if it gets grease on it and it's great knowing crumbs aren't ending up in that small area which is virtually impossible to clean is. .
