Review on Arcos 10 Inch Chicken Shears Metallic by Kyle Gresham

The scissors are well designed. The blades are sharp, the spring is strong, and the whole product is durable. I assume it will last for many years. The problem lies in the design. The handles are very slippery (a little annoying when you're working with a sharp object that cuts through bone, which requires some force and the hands and handles even touch bird fat). I end up wrapping the handles in paper towels to improve grip. I understand that rubber coatings affect the appearance of the product (which is a very good thing) but it seems to me that this was a choice of form and not functionality.
