I bought this cage 6 months ago and as it turns out it's good I've waited until now to review so I can see how well it's holding up. Disappointment is the only word that describes it. He hasn't stood the test of time, not even six months. Stupid of me because I didn't expect my medium sized parrot to find it so chewy that he "aired" it so much. There is enough room on one of the top edges of the cover, where there are more holes than fabric. It's clear my caique did this with its busy beak, but could the manufacturers have used a less "beaked" fabric? He's 16 now (probably just the average lifespan of a caique) and actually chews a little "less" than he did as a kid, which tells anyone who knows birds: parrots just want to chew! Knowing this, they could have used a stiffer fabric, but they didn't. It just occurred to me that I need to post a photo - when it gets dark and it's time to cover the cage again I will.
