I got this Wsky Rechargeable LED Flashlight because there is a lot of wildlife in our area (e.g., skunks, raccoons, possums, cats, coyotes, etc.), and we need to keep an eye out before our dog goes outside at night, to keep the peace and make sure everyone gets along.This flashlight helps us avoid any issues with nature when we let the dog out. It is SUPER bright and illuminates large parts of the yard at once. It can also be easily focused using the integrated lens to shrink the area illuminated, which is nice if we want to avoid shining the light in a particular direction or focus the beam for longer distances. It is precisely what we needed.We also do a lot of camping, and the wide area the flashlight can illuminate allows the flashlight to be used for several people on a dark trail at night. The area the flashlight shines directly on is considerable, and it is bright enough that the surrounding area is brightened as well.It also works great for signaling across long distances. The bright light gets your attention on a dark-ish night, even from a great distance. It's not going to illuminate an area far away, but it is visible to someone at a distance. It really stands out.The flashlight charges quickly with a standard USB adapter (not included). The charging indicator lets me know when it is still charging or when it is finished and ready to be used. It only takes a little power to charge it fully. I was able to charge it with a phone-charging battery. You can long-press the power button to turn it off. Short-pressing the button cycles through the various light options.The included 26650 battery is a nice touch. I have some experience with this battery, and it holds up well. It's also nice to run my phone using the flashlight as a power bank in a pinch. I hope I never need this, but it does work.The flashlight is advertised as IP65 rated (water-proof), but I did an extended dunk test and had some fog/water droplets behind the lens. There was no damage, but this is a good indicator that it doesn't quite hold up to the IP65 standard. It will do just fine in the rain, but I won't be taking it with me during a swim.
