I have to say I love my Litter Genie. I think I could just use old grocery bags, but I find it much more practical. First, you don't have to worry about your reusable bag leaking when you throw lumps in it. Second, I don't have to throw it in the trash every time I empty the bowls. I have two cats and two genies (one for each litter box - yes I'm lazy) and I probably refill the genies about every 2-3 weeks (my cats live indoors and outdoors so they don't go to the bathroom). as many boxes as a house cat).
