I purchased this handle for my mom who had hurt her right arm thus preventing her from driving. I tried it out on my car before giving it to her to make sure it would do the trick. I drive a 2003 Nissan Pathfinder which drives a bit like a truck. I live in Texas, thus the summers are hot. The knob never got hot to the touch. The swivel on the knob is extremely smooth. The knob itself is a great size, not too big or to small for gripping. The only drawback is that it tends to slip after a while and has to be repositioned (hence the 4 stars instead of 5). After installing this on my mom's car she can go anywhere now, thus giving her complete freedom.
