ideal for kittens or lighter cats as well as older cats

I'm always a bit paranoid about encouraging indoor cats to climb high places. It's hard enough to keep them off things like curtains or shelves. I've seen cats of all ages fall and injure themselves over the years, so the immediate responsibility of encouraging them to hang high to get somewhere doesn't happen in my house. So I like to keep cat towns in the order of a cat apartment. With this pretty little scratching post from the Lioopet brand, I have found the perfect resting place for both the kitten and my older cat. I mention older cats because of the lower platform and also because of the upper section because the next level above the base is easy for an older cat. This scratching post can be a motivational boost for an older cat who can still walk but wobbles a bit. Then he can level up and still get the feeling of climbing and thus stay in touch with his youth. I love this design because it gives the kitty three options for a platform to play or rest on. There is a simple flat base and the next level gives the feel of a hammock. The top ones are firmer than the middle ones, which I like. It then returns to the stable upper platform, which comes in handy if the attached toy is making them hyperactive. I like that the cat has the ability to move from a less stable layer to a hard layer for a good claw grip. I love how the bamboo rope is wrapped around the three posts that stabilize the device. This is great for cats who enjoy catnip along with the effects. I pressed the floor a little, after which my younger little cat began to crawl on the floor in a very funny way, which made it hold on to all three pillars when turning. The posts act as an additional grappling option mixed with the floating orb. My cat went from hitting the ball to scratching the bars. This mix of activities exhausted the cat and therefore gave the animal a good workout. The price for it is reasonable and it is very easy to assemble. My conclusion: This is a well-made and reliable scratching post that I can recommend.
