So good! Best in Drawing

Originally rated 4 stars but downgraded to 1 because the red is too dark and the black is too reflective to the point I don't even want it again lol I mean I think it could possibly create an interesting effect but the pink cap bringing out an almost dark brown color is way too intense. Such good packaging! it's really opaque, which is a good thing. The only thing I would like to point out is that on the cover the brightness is set very high, probably to bring out the whites. Here is my experience with these pens: 1. All the colors are darker than the photo, at least 3 tones2. White is applied transparently, but becomes opaque as it dries. It's like a trick that takes some getting used to. It doesn't dry completely like in the picture. To achieve this effect, after drying, you need to apply it 1-2 more times. If you don't wait for it to dry and apply a second coat, it simply shifts the previous pigment towards your brush strokes. For example, look at the image I uploaded. She is also on my Instagram: i.leo. Layering The real white part is made with the Jelly Roll White Gel Pen. I applied white down the center along the inside edge of the coat. Over the blue, as you can see, it's not very visible in a layer. This added some softness and opacity to the blue underneath, which I like. I also used silver to paint the pattern along the inside edge of the mantle. Compared to acrylic they are a bit darker but reflect the light just as much so I could potentially play with the lighting. I also have the feeling that they dry even darker than when they're just applied, while acrylics and watercolors tend to dry lighter. Anyway, I enjoyed using them. If, like me, you just need some light metallic accents for your drawing, then I highly recommend this! Instead of pouring acrylic and cleaning the brush and applying bc all the time, the brush holds so little acrylic lol.
