Generally this was expected. Easy to attach to bikes, 3 modes (on, strobe and strobe) and lightweight. They're not bright enough to really illuminate your path, but putting up a strobe or strobe will help improve visibility. However, when they arrived, one of them wasn't assembled quite right, with bent connectors (fiddled around for a while but reassembled) and the batteries in the other were dead (I ended up buying batteries that cost the same/more than these). Another downside is that the loop to attach it is one size fits all, so the light slides/rotates in thinner spots.
