Bit OK but none of the cutting faces properly sharpened. All cut edges were visible and also full of visible small dents, which I corrected immediately. The advantage of these types of permanent blade bits is that if you know how to properly sharpen a chisel or plane, you can at least sharpen most of the cutting surfaces. It looks like the center screw can be replaced or removed with the included Allen key and extra screw, which is very handy. This would have been a 4 or 5 star rating if the manufacturer had taken care to properly sharpen the cutting faces and not actually paint over some of the cutting edges. The metal seems hard enough to cut anything a normal human would try to cut with it. I use it successfully to drill a hole in an acrylic rod.
