The non-purchasable junk item is a third-party disrupted Fitbit Sense charger and does not contain security chips as described on this page. The Galaxy 3 charger has chips and protections that don't go to the Fitbit after one of the pins breaks. I disassembled the unit to try and fix it and found there are no chips on it as you can see in the video and photo Knowing Safety If you attempt to fix any of these things you accept full responsibility for everything , what can go wrong, of course try to use this common sense.
