Review on STARLIMS by Henry Brown

The system is user friendly for laboratory personnel who are not familiar with LIMS systems. It has all the features we needed as an academic medical center including electronic reporting. There was no training provided by Starlims so it took some time before staff realized how easy it was to use for their own purposes. I would recommend this program because it's easy to learn but also provides many options that can be used outside of work hours or when off duty. We have been able to track patient samples from blood draw through processing and shipping via Starlims. This allows us to see where there may be problems along the way.
