
Maybe a good idea, but poor execution. The cubes leak the liquid that is inside them. I discovered this by actually seeing the color change due to coffee seeping into the cubes. I'm not sure what kind of liquid is used to fill the cubes, but I'm concerned it might be harmful. I'm not 100% sure there was a leak to begin with. Plastic cubes become quite brittle when frozen. I held the cubes with regular ice tongs. Maybe they're responsible for the infiltration. However, this is a serious problem.
