When I was in my forties, my peppery grey-brown hair, which I was lucky to have, suddenly developed a noticeable "skunk streak" down the center of my head. Not wanting to walk around with a racing stripe but didn't want to deal with maintenance or the appearance of a full paint job, I gave this a try. And it works GREAT. I did the recommended tests, used it daily for about two weeks and now I only maintain it 2-3 times a week. Pleasant and subtle, perfect for minimizing bright white spots while keeping them natural. I see some reviews mentioning thinning hair. I've been using it for at least a few years and have never noticed my hair thinning. Sometimes I notice my nails getting a little darker after shampooing, but rest assured this won't leave a mark on your skin. I recommend rinsing the shower walls right after. I should note that this is not effective on very short hair. My hair is cropped short on the sides, less than 1/4 inch, and is noticeably grayer than above, but I prefer this look. Just make sure you follow the recommended testing procedure before use.
