Review on NIUGUY 350W Switching Power Supply: Universal Regulated Transformer for LED Strip Light, CCTV, Radio, Computer Projects - 110-240VAC to DC12V 30A by Mohamed Greene

Today I opened and set up my new power supply. Cut through the shrink wrap to find an easy silver stash. There are no labels or stickers anywhere. I had to use it so I decided to trust the picture on the box and set it up anyway. After plugging and plugging I got nothing, no light, no fan. I checked the outputs with a voltmeter - nothing. I unplugged it and plugged it back into a known good outlet, nothing. Examined the device again and found that even though it should have read 110, the switch was set to 220. Flicked the switch and plugged it back in, and this time there was power. Tested with a meter and I was able to let it fluctuate from 11 to about 13.8 before it started failing. I connected my cameras to it and everything works. The fan still hasn't come on, so I'm guessing it's only running when needed. I'll check again later to make sure it doesn't overheat and start a fire. Would get 5 stars if I could open the packaging and use it without much hassle.
