Review on ๐Ÿพ Pet Gear Extended Length Ramp by Jon Thawngzauk

Pet Ramp got us back on the road!

Petgear's three-wing ramp is light enough for me, a frail but agile middle-aged woman, to throw in and out of my car. The ramp is strong enough to support a 100 lb turtle. Yes, I said turtle. I can no longer get my terrapin in and out of the car, but I MUST get it in and out. Aside from his yearly vet visit, we love going to the park, the pet store, and events like the Autistic Walk. The Petgear Travel-Lite trifold ramp takes us there. Frankie (by Frankie Tortoise Tails) is wider than the average dog so I had to buy two ramps. The two ramps are perfect for Frankie. The Tri-Fold Ramp holds Frankie's 105 pounds and my occasional 130 when I need to eat, put my leg or myself on the ramp to help Frankie. It scratched the attached sandpaper-like surface for grip, but I expected that. Maintaining ramp stability is the biggest challenge. I use the included tether at the top to keep the ramp from sliding off the car. The second photo shows the wooden frame I built for the floor to keep the two ramps from sliding on the floor. The frame keeps everything securely in place. It's not easy for Frankie to get in and out of the car but at least with the Petgear ramps he can get in and out safely and I don't have to pick him up and we're on our way again. again! .
