Non-tapered threads
These pipes have no tapered threads. This means you won't see any remaining threads when tightening the fitting. However, this also means that it is released until it hits the fitting. Even then, with a little wiggling, it will loosen up again. When you're doing something that requires some alignment and a tight fit that doesn't wobble, it's hard to use.
