No issues!: my feedback

Been working great for months! Our dog isn’t wild and doesn’t test it. Not sure how it would hold up with a super active dog.

Pros
  • Very durable, plenty long enough. Too tough to chew through. Quality material.
Cons
  • The 15-foot length is not enough to provide substantial freedom of movement for dogs

Good Value but Wont Last Forever

I have bought 3 or 4 of these coated cables and I will buy more. The clasps are either end are top quality and the cable super strong. After a year or so, however, the cable will begin to curl and kink on itself from daily use. So, I just buy another one! I would unqualifiededly recommend nonetheless, due to the price and how supple and lightweight the cable is.

Pros
  • Pet Supplies
Cons
  • The cable could become tangled around nearby objects, causing potential injury to dogs

Great dog runner. for my opinion

Great line for dog tie out. Very sturdy, it would take a very determined dog to chew through this line. The clasp is strong but difficult to secure when muddy or covered in sand.I will order again.

Pros
  • The lock on the clasps stays put, unlike the last one I purchased.
Cons
  • The limited range of movement may cause dogs to become anxious and restless

Great product, poor QC.

I like the product, but the quality control wasn’t great. There was a piece on it that cut me, not severely, but it could’ve injured my dog. I had to sand it down where the metal was really sharp before I could use the product.

Pros
  • UPGRADED CLIPS: XiaZ dog cable design 360° swivel clips and locked clasp with high grade zinc alloy, ultra strong and lightweight, allows 360°rotate at any time, your dogs will be able to move happily and safely around you without getting all tangled up.
Cons
  • The cable could frustrate owners if dogs refuse to go outside due to the limited range of movement

Strong Chain for my opinion

Bought this after our initial tether broke. So, I was out with our 75 pound pup who loves to sprint. We have trees around our property and, on this certain warpath sprint, he circled the tree and made a bee line to me. Knowing what was about to happen (him running to his usual leash length that was now shortened by said tree), I tried to stop him. Thinking it would either hurt him or pull this tether apart. Instead, he ran right by my stop sign. Likely a move he picked up from me. As he ran by,

Pros
  • Ideal for those living in apartments with no access to a yard
Cons
  • The cable may become kinked easily, making it difficult to untangle

Broke after 2 months!

Broke after 2 months luckily my dog didn’t run away ugh was really nice till it broke! I have a smaller dog she weighs about 37 pounds

Pros
  • Works perfect for my dog in our backyard. Needed a sturdy tieout as he is very strong.
Cons
  • The cable may corrode over time with prolonged exposure to sunlight

Great dog cable: my feedback

Me and my dog are really enjoying this cable I don’t have a fenced in yard and my dog loves to be outside besides the walks I take him on he likes to be out in the yard so I have a thing that goes into the ground and I got this cable to attach to it its very sturdy and is doggie proofed and so far it has held up in the rain and bad weather we have in Pennsylvania I highly recommend this cable

Pros
  • Perfect for dogs who need to be kept separate from other dogs
Cons
  • The cable may cause damage to grass or other outdoor surfaces

Great latching system

Unlike some clasps, this one can be secured, so you're confident your dog won't escape due to a faulty clasp. That's my feedback.

Pros
  • Helps prevent unwanted behaviors like digging, barking or jumping
Cons
  • The cable may be too short to reach water sources or other outdoor amenities

this is the worst run, it twist and it hard to untangle. it doesn't have a twist connection so it starts to twist the dog collar. My dog was able to break this after one month because it twist and the plastic breaks and then the metal rusts and frays. DO NOT recommend this at all

Pros
  • The ideal way to provide shade and prevent overheating during hot summer days
Cons
  • The cable may not be suitable for use with tie-out stakes or other dog training tools

Not for a 45lb husky

I saw all the good reviews and wanted to try this lead out. We have a sturdy tree in the backyard that we looped the cable through itself on and the first few times I went out with my dog to watch and make sure it was good if he was running around (Also, he's only allowed outside 30 minutes at a time, not all day, and yes he goes with us for jogs). Put him on it one morning and went inside to use the bathroom, came back out to him gone with the cable still on his collar but gone from the tree…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor training and camping with your furry companion
Cons
  • The cable may not be suitable for use around strong winds or storms

I didn't like the clasp

Locking part of the clasp is not spring loaded. The clasp has a spring loaded snap, but the locking part is not secured at all. Works ok, but not designed well. Swivel on each clasp works well to keep line from twisting.

Pros
  • Portable and lightweight, making it easy to pack and travel with
Cons
  • The cable may become twisted and cause discomfort for dogs' necks

Unbreakable and chew proof

It does what it is designed for: keeps your pet where you put him/her. The plastic twisted and bent open exsposing the numberous cables within. I am sure it will rust and break there later but for now it is working as designed and gives the dog plenty of room to roam and walk around.

Pros
  • ANTI-RUST AND REFLECTIVE: The vinyl covered dog leads for yard and all hardwares are made to protect against rain and rust. Reflective cable coating reflects light at night or in low light, providing additional safety for dogs.
Cons
  • The cable may get trapped under outdoor furniture or bushes

Keeps my dog from running away

Like I had a Shepard and it was sturdy held him well and my toy dog that I have to make sure she don't walk around thinking she is a big dog.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • The cable can get tangled easily, which can be frustrating for owners and confusing for dogs

My dog and I love this!

My 30-lb Scottie mix loves his new chain. Being a typical terrier, he loves to roam in the yard and makes sure everyone knows he's the boss. I bought the longer tie out so he can roam out farther, much to the consternation of the wild turkeys! I really like the hook part, that has the latch that pushes in then covers the latch part, so it cannot accidentally open and let him loose. I definitely would buy again.

Pros
  • Great for training dogs who need to learn to stay in one area
Cons
  • The cable may not be suitable for dogs who are easily startled or prone to panic

locking carabiner for my opinion

I wasn't expecting that! But I like it when secured for awhile outside, but just taking for walks it closes securely enough not to need to secure the lock.

Pros
  • Definitely durable. Probably the best chain I had
Cons
  • It's broken in 2 weeks

What a deal on my review.

This cable sits about 6 feet off the ground so it's as sturdy as it gets. Chew proof because it sits above the ground. Great item.

Pros
  • Perfect length and it is sturdy and holds the strength of a husky dog.
Cons
  • The cable may snap or break easily, creating potential safety hazards

This is great for our 100 plus dog. The carabiner can a pain to hook and unhook to the collar, so we purchased a spring hook for that end. Overall great!

Pros
  • 15 FEET SIZE AND LIGHTWEIGHT: The length for dog run cable is 15ft, only 5.8 OZ,super lightweight, there is no burden even for samll dogs, also easy to carry. The dog line is very suitable for camping, park, yard, garden and other outdoor activities to provide great mobility for your pets, while ensuring that they are in a safe sight range.
Cons
  • The cable may need to be replaced frequently due to wear and tear

This is a good cable for dogs and a good price

This cable is great for keeping a dog in a certain area that you want to keep the dog in and they cannot chew The wire even if they try and it has very strong connectors on both ends and you could wrap it around a tree and connect it to the wire itself and then let the dog run around with it attached to their collar but make sure that you put their collar on a little tighter than you think you need to or they can go backwards and pull it over their head and escape from this wire by pulling…

Pros
  • EASE TO USE: The quick release clips be used at both ends, just hook the one end to used at both ends, just hook the one end to the collthe collar and attach dog to overhead trolley, attach to screw eye or stake, or clip cable to itself around tree with the other end. If you have any question with our dog cable, feel free to contact us. Warm tips: Please do not let your dog be tied alone for a long time, check your dog in time.
Cons
  • The cable may be difficult to install for owners who are not handy

Clip too big for tiny dog

This looks great but I had to return it because my 7-lb yorkiepoo will be weighed down by the heavy carabiner hook. They should make a light carabiner available. It’s a swivel hook permanently attached so there was no way to switch it out myself.

Pros
  • Perfect.
Cons
  • The cable length may not be suitable for areas with high foot traffic
