The height is great. It's lightweight but can be a bit thicker for durability. The biggest disappointment is that I can't remove her head to use the liquid mount and I can't remove the spike tip to use the base. This makes it completely unusable so unfortunately I have to send it back as I bought it for the height. Most monopods offer this capability, but I haven't considered the lack of such a capability. If that were to change, I would definitely consider that in the future.
