Too Challenging for Puppy

My 8 week old Goldendoodle (8 lbs) was gobbling up his food so fast he was getting hiccups. I got this slow feeder to help him eat slower. It worked a little too well because he could only manage to get about half of his meal out that was piled up higher. It slid around a lot but didn't flip over. Eventually, I fed him the other half of his meal in his regular bowl. I fed him this way twice now with the same results. I think I will try with a smaller, simpler slow feeder for now and upgrade him to this one as he gets bigger.

great slow feeding bowl. I love that it is dishwasher top rack safe.
