The leather construction looks and feels far better than the nylon belt I had been using before. Everything is built to last and its clear the manufacturers did not cut any corners. As for specific exercises I use this for.Pullups/Dips: The added nylon fastening strap is a unique feature which gives a ton of added stability and security to the load when pulling. When you tighten that thing up your belt is locked to your hips and won't be going anywhere. Additionally the nylon loading strap is far better than any chains I have used in the past. Its heavy duty and wont ever tear and if there is too much length I can just tie a knot into it and shorten it to the standard size most dip belts cut their loading chains to.Pushups: This is the primary reason I bought a new dip belt. Other belts did not have long enough chains and nylon surface caused it to slide while doing my reps. The padding on this belt is sufficient to be both comfortable while also keeping it secure across my shoulders.Belt squats (squats, standing on two boxes, weight dangling between the legs): This thing is fantastic. I've had issues with the belt sliding or the weight digging into the thighs and sliding up the back while in the hole. Not an issue with this one.
